Ickworth House – A step back in time

Last Saturday, my family and I visited the amazing Ickworth House in Suffolk. We had a great time exploring the house and it almost felt like we had stepped back in time. The Servants quarters were the most interesting for me. Being a writer, even when I don’t plan to wear my writing hat, it just happens. There was something about the house that told of great stories and I could imagine some of the stories being told from the servant’s POV. Check out these two...

A message of thanks

I’m thrilled to reveal my redesigned website banner! Huge thanks to my amazing website designer Nick Hunt for his patience, understanding and talents. Massive thanks to my fabulous cover designer, Jane Dixon-Smith for her brilliant design. Jane always manages to capture the essence of my stories in her designs and I must say, this time, once again, she was spot on. Framlingham Castle – A step back in time!

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Framlingham Castle in Suffolk, England. Wow, it was a trip worth taking. In forty-five minutes, my family and I were drinking in the beautiful Suffolk countryside. The views are absolutely stunning, the history fascinating, and the locals, totally charming. Already my head is whirling with several New Year’s Resolutions and writing keeps me focused on what I hope to achieve in 2018. I’ve self-published three books so far in the...

Friday Musings

Happy Friday! Today I’ve picked up my SeQuence books again after a few weeks of very minimal fantasy writing. I’ve been putting most of my efforts in self-editing my upcoming Young Adult Contemporary Romance Novel, Fairytale Dad. I’m pleased to say I’m absolutely thrilled with the progress. An anonymous reader from the Romantic Novelists Association read Fairytale Dad and her feedback has been invaluable. I received a detailed report on plot,...
